The Last Quarter

This 4th quarter was particularly the most difficult and challenging for me. I found it difficult to stay motivated and focused, and I had a lot of trouble managing my time effectively. there were several unexpected events that happened during this time that made it even harder to keep up with my studies. Despite the challenges, I tried my best to stay on track with my studies.

I created a detailed schedule that helped me manage my time better, and I made sure to break down my assignments into smaller, more manageable tasks. I also reached out to my teachers and classmates for help when I needed it, and I tried to stay positive and motivated even when things were tough. Despite the challenges, I was able to achieve some things that I'm proud of this quarter. For example, I improved my grades in several subjects, and I was able to complete a particularly difficult project on time. In addition, I learned some new study strategies that I think will be helpful in the future. Looking back on this quarter, I learned a lot about myself and my abilities. I learned that I'm capable of persevering through difficult times, and that I can be more productive when I have a clear plan in place. I also learned the importance of asking for help when I need it, and I developed a better understanding of my own strengths and weaknesses as a student. 

Overall, this 4th quarter was definitely challenging, but I feel like I was able to grow and learn a lot from the experience. While I'm glad it's over, I'm also grateful for the lessons I learned and the achievements I made along the way.

To Dream Is To Write Your Future

Do you ever wake up in the morning and wonder who you want to be? It's a question we all ask ourselves at some point, but for some, the answer comes quickly. They know exactly who they want to be, what they want to do, and the impact they want to make on the world.

Personally, I've always been drawn to the idea of being a writer. It may sound cliché, but it's my dream to be able to put words on paper that resonate with people and inspire them to chase their own dreams. I want to write about the things that matter to me and make a positive impact on society. Of course, becoming a successful writer is not easy. It takes time, dedication, and a lot of hard work. But for me, the reward would be worth it. I can imagine sitting at a café, surrounded by books, with a pen and notebook in hand, searching for the next sentence that will capture the essence of my thoughts.

But being a writer isn't just about putting words on paper. It's also about the discipline of sitting down to write every day, even when the words don't come so easily. It's about developing a thick skin to deal with rejection and criticism and continuing to persevere. But most of all, it's about staying true to yourself, even when others may not understand or agree with your vision. I want to be the kind of writer who makes a difference in people's lives. I want to write stories that inspire people to chase their dreams, to believe in themselves, and to see the world in a new light. Writing is not just a hobby for me, it's a passion that burns deep within my soul.

So who do I want to be? I want to be a writer. A writer who has the courage to express themselves authentically and the dedication to keep writing even when it's difficult. I want to inspire others and make a positive impact on the world through my words. It's a tall order, but it's the kind of life I want to live, a life full of creativity, connection, and maybe even a little magic.

To Improve Is To Change

CHANGE allows you to see what's important to you.

Change is in the very nature of being. Every new day is different from the previous day. Body metabolism is one such process as also growth of trees and revolving of planets. Tides come and go. Sometimes a whole river changes its course. Change is a very powerful thing, and that is not realized by many. Some changes are out of your control, and others can be made entirely by yourself. Change Is Important! "Only the wisest and stupidest of men never change." Change means growth, which means more success, happiness, and better health.

Things change all the time; and often people fear them. Some believe change is the worst thing that could happen, but that is not always the case. In order to move on with life, things must change. I believe that change is good, and if nothing changed, then life would not exist for most people. I also believe that people should purposely make changes in their life, in order to experience new things, and see how one can benefit from doing things differently. Most of the time, people will find that changes help them understand things better, and enjoy life more. Change allows people to grow, not only mentally, but also physically and emotionally.

Everything you want is just outside your comfort zone, according to a quotation I came across at some point in my life. As I reflect on everything I have accomplished or see in the lives of those around me, I see how accurate that statement is. We can only accomplish anything spectacular when we break from our typical routine and act in a unique way. Change is a departure from the norm, to put it simply. It is not expected for change to be comfortable, thus it never is. If it were, then everyone would. Even if it is uncomfortable, it is also vital. We frequently forget that in order to alter the billions of people out there, we must first change ourselves when we dream of changing the world.

My First Love

Mothers are their children's first teachers and friends. She nurtures her child with all of her heart and soul for the nine months that she bears him or her in her womb. Since her children were born, she has been able to read their every gesture. She raises her children with an unwavering love and mentors them in making the correct decisions. She looks after her kids and makes every effort to keep them safe. We commemorate Mother's Day to show our appreciation for and affection for our mothers.

When a youngster gets home, they look for their mother first. From the moment she gives birth until she dies, she takes care of her offspring. Their countless contributions to our life and everything they accomplish from morning to night are too numerous for us to count. Even though they are weary, mothers carry out all of their tasks and responsibilities throughout the day. For all the love they show us and all the care they provide us, they never ask for anything in return. However, we can express our gratitude to our mothers for everything they do for us.

No of her age, a child always wants to see her mother first when she gets home. A child will go to her mother for assistance when she is in danger. While granting others' wishes, she forgets her own desires. She feeds her kids by making their favorite meals, and she tells them brand-new tales. She also aids in the preparation of her kids' school assignments and tutors them academically. Children are taught proper behavior, equity, morality, and humanity by their mothers. In actuality, a child's mother is the greatest blessing in her life.

1st of May

Every year on May 1, Filipinos nationwide celebrate Labor Day to honor their commitment to hard work. 'Araw ng mga Manggagawa' is how it is referred to in Filipino. In the Philippines, people unwind and spend the day with their loved ones. Labor movements and parades are a component of the festivities at Malacanang and in big towns like Manila. Their grievances, which include the minimum wage, cruel working conditions, and other problems that impair employee rights, are brought to light through these actions. On this day, every diligent Filipino is honored, regardless of their line of work.

In the Philippines, Labor Day is more than simply a regular holiday; it stands for the efforts and successes of Filipino workers. Labor groups first called for a national holiday to honor this day in 1908, which is when Labor Day officially entered the national calendar. To recognize the contributions and laborious efforts of workers, the Philippine Assembly approved a measure in 1908 declaring Labor Day a public holiday. Inhumane working conditions were common at the period, and Filipino employees were not afforded any legal protection from their employers.

Labor Day reminds us of our interconnectedness and how we benefit from the labor of others. This includes those who stock shelves, truckers, warehouse workers, farmers, harvesters, granary workers, fertilizers, roads, rails, fuel, coal miners, and banking and business. The list is endless. They are known for their perseverance, hard work, and dedication, all of which are crucial traits in the profession. Because of the extraordinary talents and knowledge of Filipino workers, many businesses worldwide rely on them. Because of this, Filipino workers are significant not just as players in the global economy but also as contributors to the advancement of their nation. However, it is crucial to make sure that Filipino employees are not left behind as technology develops and automation spreads across industries globally. 

Labor Day is not just another annual public holiday observed by the Filipino people. It symbolizes the arduous battles waged by labor unions and professional organizations to demand better working conditions and employees' rights. The sacrifices made by those who campaigned for respectable employment possibilities, humane pay, secure workplaces, and social protection are commemorated on this day.

My Third Quarter Experience

Another fresh piece of knowledge has been acquired since the prior quarter. I am prepared for this third quarter and am hopeful that fresh classes and fun activities will expand our understanding. And I wasn't let down because I learnt all there is to discover about HTML and internet access within the second quarter.

As a result of my intense interest in this topic, the lessons for this quarter were easy for me to comprehend. Despite the challenges I faced, I was able to go over them and continue. The first lesson was confusing to me at first, but I was determined to learn, so I asked my classmates what it was about, and I did so quickly. And because I like to write and encode, basic HTML was easy for me to learn. It has a straightforward technique, so I didn't even need to memorize it or go over it again for it to stick in my memory.

Moving forward, I'll keep doing what I'm doing since it's a good practice, and I'll try to keep it up. I'm hoping the upcoming quarter will be equally enjoyable and straightforward as the previous one.

ISNHS' Day

The teachers, and students were seated separately in divisions. The program was started of welcome address by our very energetic principal. Thereafter, we performed marching band in the gym, I was very nervous that time because it was my first time performing as one of their flaglets and being part of highschool band had an important effect on my educational and personal choices. Being in band has taught me how to better manage my time, multitask, be dependable, and work well in a team. Participating in band is an excellent way to improve a variety of my personal skills. Having to attend marching band rehearsals demonstrates how adaptable one must be in order to function well in an activity. 

Fortunately for me, it worked out perfectly because i usually go to bed early. After performing we decided to go in mall to ate our lunch there, my experience of highschool day was really great because i've known a lot of people and my lack of confidence has lessened slightly. We got back after eating, the program had ended, so we performed again then after performing inside the gym, we performed outside, then watched others perform until 2:30 p.m. I feel so tired that's why I went home immediately, marching band is tiring yet fun, I am a kind of student who is more interested in arts than sports. I never participated in a team sport in high school, but I believe that marching band and musicals helped me learn and later demonstrate the mentality of both a leader and a team player. Being a part of both of these groups when i was younger was an experience I would not trade for anything. 

The function concluded with the head teacher's words of gratitude. She praised the teachers and students for their perseverance and determination. She also encouraged us to learn and be responsible citizens of our country. Despite the fact that it had been a long and exhausting day, we we're all overjoyed. All of the hard work put in by students and teachers paid off. Another memorable school's annual day function has come to a finish.

My family went to church on maunday thursday to participate in the Lord's supper. This was a special moment of recalling, and i am flooded with gratitude for Jesus Christ's sacrifice. I spent Good Friday alone in my room, reading the story of Jesus crucifixion and reflecting on the price of his love. Jesus suffering, love, and grace moved me to tears. I helped my mom in decorating our house with flowers on Holy Thursday as we prepared for Easter Sunday. I was filled with pleasure and excitement for Jesus resurrection and the joy of easter. Finally, during Easter Sunday, my sister, mom, and I went to special service to remember the resurrection of Jesus. We sang joyful hymns and thanked God for Jesus resurrection miracles. this was a truly special occasion, and I was filled with happiness and optimism.

Monday was our free day, my family decided to go to the beach, so as i strolled along the smooth concrete path to the beach, i thought about all the amazing things i could have been doing. As we got closer to the beach, the smell of salty ocean water drifted up my nose. It was like being wrapped in a warm embrace. I could soon feel the soft grind of the sand beneath my feet and hear the gentle crashing of the waves on the beach. I felt that this was very relaxing. I had been relieved that i was doing something other than lying in bed and scrolling through social media at this point in my life. Then, after spending endless hours with my family enjoying all that the beach had to provide, it was time to go home. 

That day, i realized that spending time with your family and having fun is better being alone in your room, and despite the fact that some members were missing, our family bonding was really fun. Holy week was a transforming and influential experience. I was profound love and sacrifice through prayers, reflection, and celebration. This season, I am overwhelmed with gratitude for my many blessings. I will remember the lessons from this special week for the rest of the year.

The Heart of Ilocos Sur

Festivals are not only observed for religious or cultural reasons. The public can benefit greatly more from festivals. They facilitate interaction and foster a feeling of community. People from all walks of life gather on these days to celebrate life.

The City of Vigan observes Kannawidan as a holiday every year. The Ilocano people display their cultural performances, regional goods, and individual talents at this event.

It is important to protect our unique culture and rich heritage. The Kannawidan Ilocos Festival was established as an annual event with the goal of raising awareness about the preservation of the province's rich cultural heritage, practices, and traditions. Ilocos Sur's province administration created a festival to celebrate these customs and cultures and draw both domestic and international visitors. It is known as the Kannawidan Ilocos Festival and celebrates the anniversary of Ilocos Sur becoming a province. Every person living in the province understands the importance of this festival because it commemorates the establishment of Ilocos Sur as a province by royal decree on February 2, 1818. The Philippine History Commission refers to Vigan in particular as the "Heart of Ilocandia" in reference to Ilocos Sur. The province has a very rich cultural history. Traditions are what Kannawidan means, and this province got to show off everything she has.

Women are not just women, they are more than that, they are women. They deserve to be loved and respected. Women are flawless. Women are graceful, they dance with emphasis in each step nearly perfecting every play they slay. The horizon has its own heartbeat to pump, just like a flower that blooms with each metamorphosis in bliss. A choir of insecurities might call the sleeping anxiety above their heads, but a fearless woman would never let darkness dictate how she shines. Nevertheless, women will never be less.

Women are flawsome. Hail their beauty, bow at their feet. Out there is a girl crying thinking she’s not enough because of body-shaming, face-shaming and more! It’s a miracle how she was able to survive not having anything to eat except for self-appreciation and self-acceptance. She was able to neglect her bruises, she was able to lift herself up when no one was able to do so.

Women are flawless but also women are flawsome. They see each day as a challenge-in-disguise. It’s a colorful thing to notice that whatever mistake they make and whatever rock blocks their way, they still end day victoriously and they finish their play harmonically. They slay effortlessly, but also they strive beautifully,hands down to all women for signifying independency. Have you seen the miss universe coronation night? It was fabulous! but let me remind you one thing, every woman deserves a crown. Every woman is a miss universe and a dancing ballerina of their own.

Heart's Day

Love is the language of our hearts. Love can be expressed in a lot of ways. Some say that love is complicated, while others believe that it's supposed to be complicated. In the month of February, Valentine's day is being celebrated to express affection towards one another.

 

In my Valentine's Day Celebration, I'd like to share a story from my school that demonstrated the power of student leadership. When I first became an auditor, I was very excited about creating a space to empower students. However, I was much less excited about the event planning that had traditionally been a part of the group's responsibilities. When it comes to events, there are often too many details and not enough time, which causes headaches and exhaustion for the officers in charge. All of the activities were exciting, including the photo booth with a big heart frame, where couples happily took pictures, and the message booth, where students wrote messages to their crushes and loved ones, the blind date, marriage booth, food fair booth, and gifts booth, where we sell plastic roses made of ribbons, crochet sunflowers, crochet tulips, and bouquets for students to give to someone they admire. We also surprised our teachers in each subject, which was a lot of fun because other students are also cooperating.

However, as our first huge venture as a student club officer approached, I began to see things differently. Not only did students demonstrate their ability to organize the event, but the outcome was more energetic and inclusive than I've seen in other schools, and I'm sure this is because we used democratic processes to make decisions and let students take responsibility for nearly every aspect of the project that we prepared.

Vigan Festival

 In late January, the Vigan celebrates City Fiesta and Longganisa Festival is included in the festive program. It's normally celebrated around January 22nd to January 25th—the dates vary from year to year. During the festival, every tourist has a chance to try authentic longganisa from Vigan. Usually, local people eat salami for breakfast but the food itself is too good to be eaten during the morning hours only.

January 25th marks the city’s feast day of the patron saint St. Paul, also marking its conversion day.

For many years now, Calesa Parade became the main attraction of the Viva Vigan Festival of the Arts.

The city became vibrant, full of people, both the locals and tourists, travelers and visitors.

Second Quarter

 

     The last quarter has passed, another new knowledge have gained. This second quarter, I am ready and hoping that new lessons and exciting activities will be added to our knowledge. And I was not disappointed because this second quarter I learned everything there is to know about internet access and HTML.

     I have been so interested in this subject, the lessons for this quarter were simple for me to understand. I may have encountered difficulties, but I quickly managed to overcome them and moved on. I didn't understand the first lesson at first, but I was determined to learn, so I asked my classmates what the lesson was all about, and I quickly understood it. And basic HTML was simple for me, and I enjoy code and encoding. Since there is a simple technique to it, it easily registered in my mind and I didn't even have to memorize or review it.

     Moving on, I will continue doing what I am doing because it is a good practice, and I will do my best to maintain it. I'm hoping that the next quarter will be as exciting as the first and as easy as the second.

First of January

 New Year, it's the day where we celebrate to mark the end of a year. I used to think that it's just a normal day where we all change our calendars as the year ends and watch the fascinating bright colorful explosions dancing in the dark. However, as I grow up, the end of the year became a day in my life where I recall everything that happened to me in the entire year, to embrace the lessons that this year gave to me, and to make new goals for the succeeding year.

I was peacefully sleeping when I heard my favorite song playing out of nowhere, it was my alarm ringing loudly that woke me up. I lazily got up and checked my phone, it was eleven in the evening. Sixty more minutes before the world completes another revolution. As much as I wanna go back to bed, I don't wanna miss this once-a-year moment so I went downstairs and turn on the lights. Only to find my sister sneaking some snacks that are meant to be eaten in the later. I chuckled when I remembered her trying to wake me up awhile ago but I refused to open my eyes and just waited for my precious alarm. Forty minutes before twelve, I started to reminisce everything that happened this year, it's scary how time can ruin and heal things at the same time. It was a tough year for me and I'm proud of myself for surviving. Other family members joined us in the table as we ate while waiting for the clock to strike twelve. I covered my ears as fireworks starts to play in the sky and kids started blowing their horn-shaped trumpets, it was loud and I hate noise but it's only for today, right? As soon as the celebration ended, we immediately went back inside the house and I drifted to dreamland, again.

We celebrate New Year to welcome a new fresh beginning. To write the next chapter of our lives while carrying the lessons which was given to us by the previous chapter.

Twenty Fifth of December

Before the day of christmas celebration, we set up our tree, complete with ornaments and a star, and decorated our house as usual. the celebration was obviously in the air, with the typical smells of christmas season foods, yet it was different. But this christmas was unlike any other in my 11-year life.

There used to be days of celebration leading up to christmas. Church gatherings, carol singing in groups, and visitors in and out of our home were all taken for granted. This year, none of this happened. Instead of spending Christmas Eve in church, welcoming in the holiday with midnight mass and receiving the blessed sacrament, we sat in front of our televisions at our auntie's home, my mom and dad are sleeping my uncle's are drinking alcohol, our gathering was small, nearer, and focused on family.

Things appear to be improving in our city due to the suffering from COVID-19. businesses are attempting to recover, and this christmas, the stores have been done out in an attempt to get people to come out, buy, and celebrate. Looks that people in the city have been for any chance to brighten their lives. Many people who do not traditionally celebrate Christmas have trees in their homes. And there are many new home that are offering gifts for christmas and the new year. This year has a lot of changes maybe because we're getting older, but we must not forget to love and forgive not just in christmas, but everyday since for us Christmas is everyday.

Christmas is a celebration of peace, love, and happiness that sends a message to all of us to live together. The celebration brings joy to everyone's lives and inspires us to follow the road of righteousness. Individuals swear to help the sick and needy in accordance with Jesus Christ's teachings, as well as to travel the prescribed path of Christianity freely.

Estudyantepreneur

 Students nowadays seek to start their own enterprises because they want self-support, and professional freedom. some of these teenagers will invest in a business I the hopes of expanding and strengthening the legacy. but will establish a company to fill a void in society. these individuals will benefit from entrepreneurship programs that teach them how to make change, develop, interact, and sustain. however, many students have no plans to pursue a business degree. they are more interested in public service, medicine, education and the arts. importantly, these students must also learn skills that will prepare them to produce, organize, work, and endure. being part in estudyantepreneur is indeed needed for all students.

 

I've been interested in business since I was ten or eleven years old since my mom was and still an entrepreneur. My mom had several small enterprises before settling on clothes. so, when I was young, I was also by my mother's side in any business she started. over time, I developed an entrepreneurial spirit. I had no idea I'd be on the same path at some point. I started preparing dynamite rolls with my mother when I was ten years old to sell in his catering business. so, at the age of thirteen, my talents had improved to the point where I could sell my own dynamite roll. I asked my mom for a pair of shoes a day. she asked about the price. I told her that I didn't think $2,450 was too much for her.

 

My mother informed me at this point that I needed to start my own business so that when I earned $2,450, I could buy my own shoes. I started my own business with the help of my mother. I've made 2,450 multiple times, but I didn't buy the shoes because i didn't want to spend my own money. I've learnt to be fiscally responsible with my own money. with that financial obligation came the beginning of my life's management and organization. so I started living my life on purpose, and the fact that I've been volunteering through teen court and school work to hopefully gain scholarships so that I can go to college to become an architect and business woman, which is excellent. I did some volunteer work at arts school this summer. in my pre-adult life, I took the initiative with persistence and a clear vision to do what it needed to succeed. being a young entrepreneur aren't that bad, because you gain your own money without the help of your parents, and buy the things that you want to buy.

    Children's day is for kids, but I'm pretty sure that all of us want to go back to the golden, unproblematic, and tension-free days in our lives. We should've cherished them. However, no matter how much we want to go back, time-traveling doesn't exist, we have to and we should focus on the present to have a better future. We used to be kids who are dreaming to become one of those successful professionals nowadays. Thus, this signifies that children are our future, we are the key to having a better future for the next generation. The real essence of children's day is to understand the importance of childhood in our lives. The principles and disciplines learned as a child are responsible for what he or she becomes in the future. It was the time when we first learned to count numbers, learn about visible colors, and many more. Thus, childhood should be celebrated.

Teachers Day

 Teachers are our second mothers they say, and this is true. From ABC’s to red, white and blue; to science and mathematics too, they taught us a lot of things that we could apply in the future. They are the ones who guided us to where we are now.

October 5, 2022. A day celebrated in honour of our beloved teachers who shaped us with their knowledge, patience and love. Their wisdom, dedication and kindness will always lead us on the right path. And inspire us to be better human beings. They didn't say the answers to us, rather, they taught us to find the answers by ourselves. Our parents gave us life and it was our teachers who taught us how to harness the life to the fullest. You introduced honesty and passion to us. You made us believe in ourselves that we can do it, that we could face our fears in school and in life. You are our inspiration.

We may not be able to thank you enough. But we are beyond grateful that we have a teacher like you. All I want to say is a big THANK YOU!

Save Nature

Taking care of the earth is a must. Because this is the only planet that is safe for us, this is our only home.

Cleaning the environment is the key to existence and survival of life on planet earth. Maintaining a clean environment reduces pollution, protects endangered species, and also helps preserve the earth's natural resources. 

Cleaning is the method used to achieve a clean environment. 

By planting more trees, it'll contribute to global reforestation efforts, restoring lost forests, repairing damaged ecosystems and also mitigating climate changes.

 Dear Mr. President,

Please accept my warm congratulations on your victory and my best wishes for your success. I am looking forward to your leadership in making our country more peaceful. Congratulations on your excellent achievement.

"A leader is one who knows the way, goes the way, and shows the way", by John C. Maxwell. Being a leader isn't about you, it's about the people that are on your team and how you can help them to be successful. Leadership isn't easy, rather, a challenge to be something more than average. It is not an easy job but I hope that our votes won't be wasted because you deserve your position. We are routing on you, your capacity to lead us. Moreover, there were a lot of problems that are visible nowadays. I hope that you would be able to resolve it as soon as possible. Because many lives are lost due to these crimes happening. I sincerely hope that you would be able to stop those and make our county a more peaceful one.

We are expecting a lot from your leadership for the next six years. I hope that those years will able to turn our beloved country better. May your leadership bring a better future for each Filipinos.
